A LITTLE COMIC · 6 PANELS

Essential Supplies

I fell asleep on the sofa with a book resting on my chest. When I woke, I put it back on the shelf with the bookmark exactly where it had been before. I had apparently needed the rest more than the next chapter.

Later I read about Churchill's afternoon naps. I found that detail reassuring. I was less eager to compare what we each got done during the rest of the day.

A man defends his sofa nap by citing Churchill, calls a parcel essential supplies, and starts putting on his shoes while his partner discovers he is collecting slippers.
